Control Panel

The first notable difference is their control panel. Both come with electronic buttons and a display, but appearance-wise, they’re different. With the Cuisinart DCC-3200, there are two sets of buttons. One is located below the display, and the other surrounds the display.

On the other hand, most of the Cuisinart DCC-2800‘s buttons are located on each side of the unit. One button is below the display.


When it comes to size, the Cuisinart DCC-2800 has a larger display, but when it comes to color, the Cuisinart DCC-3200 has a blue backlit display.

Also, the pieces of information displayed on these screens vary. With the DCC-2800, expect the following: time of day, Brewing icon, flavor setting, cup setting, and either the Auto on or off when set.

In comparison, the DCC-3200’s screen shows the following: time of day, Auto On and Auto Off times, warming plate indicator, and Ready Tone off icon.

Carafe Temperature

One important difference is the presence or absence of the Carafe Temperature feature, which allows you to set the temperature of the warming plate to either low, medium, or high.

Between the two, only the Cuisinart DCC-3200 has this feature.


The Cuisinart DCC-2800 has press-button reservoir cover and a cord storage. The DCC-3200, unfortunately, doesn’t have these features/parts.
